First: Judith Connors, Queensland, Australia.
Second: Barbara Netherwood, Derbyshire.
Third: Pam Foad, Berkshire.
As prizes the winners were given wooden shuttles painted by Sarah Jones. Examples of her work can be seen on her website.
The winning entries typify the amazing range of Christmas decorations that can be made in tatting: from Judith's intricate 3-dimensional snowflake inside a glass ball, to Barbara's colourful beaded bell ornament, and Pam's delicate all-tatted white angel.
Barbara created her own design and the pattern is in the Autumn 2005 Newsletter.
The other entries too are so appealing that we are keeping them here for the festive season.
