Equipment: two ¾ inch / 2 cms mirrors or a large sequin
two shuttles, size 20 thread
21 small sequins and 21 beads
fine crochet hook - to fit through the small sequins and beads

Wind the shuttles fully

Round 1 - the centre `flowers`
With Shuttle 1:
Sm R   5, (p, 2) x 6, p, 5   cl   (7 picots)
L R    7, (p, 2) x 8, p, 7   cl   (9 picots)

L R   7, + to last p on previous L R (2, p) x 8 **
Repeat from * to ** four times REMEMBERING TO JOIN THE SIXTH RINGS TO THE FIRST RINGS AT THE LAST / FIRST PICOTS. This forms a 3d flower.
DO NOT CUT THE THREAD.

With shuttle 2 make a second flower the same as the first.

Round 2 To enclose the mirrors / large sequin:
Without cutting the thread and using one of the shuttles as a `ball` position the `flowers` back to back and make a join into the 1st / last picots on the nearest larger rings going through both `flowers` thus joining them together.
CH  5, p, 5, ↓ to 1st / last picots between next large rings; continue round the `flowers`, shuttle joining them together, but when half way round insert the mirrors, back to back, (or the sequin) and then complete the round joining for a second time into the first join. DO NOT CUT THE THREAD.
