Shuttles

This section is a celebration of all sorts of shuttles:

A big thank you to Pam Palmer for allowing us to use information from her book "Tatting Shuttles, Related Tools & Accessories". This book has an amazing collection of beautifully-photographed shuttles from the eighteenth century to the present day, very readable with lots of interesting background material.

Another invaluable book for shuttle collectors is "Tatting Shuttles of American Collectors" by Heidi Nakayama. Collectors in the UK as well as the US will find this book of great interest as shuttles have travelled to both sides of the pond.
